The Virtual Academy for Performing Artists (VAPA) project is a European initiative aimed at supporting young theatre artists in developing their professional skills in the fields of social theatre, puppetry, and self-entrepreneurship within the cultural and creative industries.

The aim of the project is to provide young artists with access to a structured learning process, practical training, and professional development that will strengthen their artistic capacities and prepare them for careers in the performing arts. Through educational programs, workshops, mentorship, and public performances, participants will enhance their artistic and entrepreneurial competencies.

Key project results:

  • Development of two specialized training programs
  • Preparation of five theatre performances and ten public appearances
  • Creation of five puppetry scripts and fifteen performances
  • Development of thirty individual career development plans for young artists

The project is implemented in partnership with:

  • Creative House, North Macedonia
  • MTÜ Cirsium, Estonia
  • Instituto Ikigai, Spain
  • Teatro Due Mondi Associazione Culturale, Italy

By combining the expertise of partner organizations from different European countries, the VAPA project aims to foster professional growth, empower young performing artists, and contribute to the development of innovative and socially engaged theatre practices.

The project enhances the cultural scene and emphasizes the role of young artists as active agents in creating inclusive, creative, and dynamic communities.
